By accessing or using UNIFY's website/app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the app immediately.

• Mentors and Mentees must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

• Mentors: Provide guidance within your area of expertise. UNIFY does not guarantee admissions outcomes or scholarship decisions.
• Mentees: Pay-per-session fees are non-refundable once the session has been completed.
• All interactions between users (Mentors and Mentees) are for educational purposes only.

You agree not to engage in the following:

• Misrepresentation of your qualifications (mentors) or academic records (mentees).
• Posting, sharing, or transmitting spam, harassment, or any content that violates the rights of others.
• Sharing copyrighted material without permission.
• Engaging in abusive behavior, including harassment, hate speech, threats, or bullying.

UNIFY has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive content. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms.

• Payments are processed via Stripe and PayPal. Chargebacks or disputes may result in account suspension.
• Refunds are only available for unused sessions, provided the session is canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

UNIFY is not liable for:

• Admissions decisions, scholarship outcomes, or any results from mentor guidance.
• Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., server outages, third-party service failures).

• Content Filtering: UNIFY uses third-party tools to filter inappropriate language and toxic content in user-generated content (e.g., chat, comments, profiles). Stream Chat provides automated moderation to ensure content adheres to community guidelines.
• Report Abuse: Users may report offensive or harmful content directly through the app. All reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours.
• Blocking Users: Users have the ability to block others who engage in abusive behavior or content.
• Consequences of Violations: Accounts found violating these terms, especially those engaging in harassment, abusive behavior, or posting harmful content, will be suspended or terminated. Content reported as abusive will be removed promptly.

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without notice, including for misuse of the platform or abusive conduct.

Users may also request to close their accounts at any time by contacting support.

UNIFY reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or within the app.
